Naturhouse extends its international presence to 31 countries after recently entering Hungary

  • The company will operate via a master franchise contract in Hungary, where it plans to open 50 centres in seven years.
  • Naturhouse has increased its international presence to a further 2 countries–Malta and Hungary–in this financial year, thus highlighting once again the ability of its business model to adapt to new markets.

 

Barcelona, 23 June 2016.-Naturhouse, a company specialising in the sale of diet products and dietary re-education, has taken a further step in its international growth strategy by entering Hungary. With the opening up of this new market, Naturhouse is now present in 31 countries.

Naturhouse’s arrival in the Hungarian market comes about through a master franchise agreement with local company Natur Diet ZRT, owned by businessmen Sandor Makra and Zoltan Ban. Through the agreement, Naturhouse will open a total of 50 new stores over the next seven years. The master franchise model is the formula selected by the company for operating in markets that recommend this approach due to their socioeconomic conditions.

The group’s arrival in Hungary represents entry to a key Eastern European country, given its high population levels and positive growth outlook for the coming years.

This new market is another step forward in the company’s intense international growth process, with operations in 31 countries via 2,123 centres.

According to Félix Revuelta, Chairman of Naturhouse, “Our entry into Hungary is further testament to the extraordinary work being carried out to expand our business beyond our borders and, through this, improve our figures. Hungary–the country with the 6th largest population in Eastern Europe–is forecasting GDP growth of 2.5% over the coming years, which will doubtless allow us to take advantage of both a period of expansion and our experience in this part of continent, where we already have more than 450 centres.”
